A  journey not to be forgotten
Take your time and enjoy the journey by car on the Kenepuru Road, a scenic drive that winds its way in and out of the many bays of the Mahau and Kenepuru Sounds.  This usually takes about two and a half hours from Picton or two hours from Havelock.

Alternatively, you can travel by boat or air.  Water taxis are a great way to get around the Sounds and can be arranged in advance to pick you up and drop you off at the Manaroa wharf.  Sounds Air flies to the neighbouring farm's airstrip and is an exciting and affordable mode of transportation offering a birds-eye view of the area.  Helicopter flights are also available for transport and sightseeing.

If you would like us to organise transportation to Manaroa for you, please let us know in advance and we will do so.
Manaroa is located at the top end of the South Island, New Zealand, in the Marlborough Sounds.

If you choose to drive to Manaroa, you can do so via Picton or Havelock.  Just follow Queen Charlotte Drive to Linkwater and turn down Kenepuru Road.  Follow the road signs right up until you reach Manaroa at Clova Bay (about 2 to 2.5 hours drive).
